It sounds like what you really want to do is upgrade the partition
that NetWorker is installed on. Assuming you installed on a non-boot
drive--I'll assume d:--then all you have to do is shut down the
networker services (all four, including NMC), copy everything to the
new drive, rename the current drive from d: to something else, rename
the san drive to d:, and restart the services.

If it is on c:, it may be possible, but not as easy. I've never
tested it, but I suspect that you can just copy the nsr folder from
c: to your d: san drive, edit the registry keys for the service and
other nsr related things, and restart. You'll probably have to
manually edit some of the notifications, but so long as all the
indexes are at the default location, it'll probably be fine otherwise.

Anyone else tried that?

Hi.

I need to move indexes of about 400 clients on our Networker 7.5.1 server
running Server 2003 SP2.

The KB's on powerlink direct you to do this manualy on a per client basis,
no method of moving the indexes for all the clients. But there must be.

I would actually like to move the entire legato folder as well along with
the indexes to a SAN drive.

Do you know about a method to do this?
