Hi,
Recently I have noticed that some of the volumes are marked with expiration
date of 2045.
1) On investigating, the culprits came out to be the RMAN savesets(ie
savesets created during online backups with NMO)
I have noticed that for some of the savesets, browse and retention time is
the same as the saveset creation time.
These are the volumes marked expiration date to 2045, which contains these
kind of savesets with same creation, browse & retention time.
Abnormal Saveset:
$ mminfo -avot -q'ssid=2130049796' -r'savetime(19),volume,sumsize,name,
ssbrowse(19), ssretent(19)'
date time volume size
name browse time
retention time
* *4/27/2009 08:32 PM MU7376L3 175 GB RMAN:DB_SMD_s2607_p1_t685312361
4/27/2009 08:32 PM 4/27/2009 08:32 PM
2) However, savesets backued-up on another date from the same DB are normal
too.
Normal Saveset:
$ mminfo -avot -q'ssid=3725353968'
-r'savetime(19),volume,pool,sumsize,name,ssid, ssbrowse(19), ssretent(19)'

Any suggestion about what could be the possible problem will be appreciated
?
