Re: [Networker] Probe when skipping

I have a question concerning probes when a scheduled backup job isskipped
People are telling me a probe will be done even if a scheduledbackup job is skipped.
Is there any truth in this ?

Previous versions of NetWorker did various levels of probe on skip. v5for instance did a full probe of the client; v6 had some reduced levelof probing, but I've not seen a probe done of a client during a skipfor quite some time now. Your stated version of 7.4.4 should not probewhen a skip is set to run.
