I have a question concerning probes when a scheduled backup job is skipped

People are telling me a probe will be done even if a scheduled backup job is skipped.

Is there any truth in this ?

Previous versions of NetWorker did various levels of probe on skip. v5 for instance did a full probe of the client; v6 had some reduced level of probing, but I've not seen a probe done of a client during a skip for quite some time now. Your stated version of 7.4.4 should not probe when a skip is set to run.

Cheers,

Preston.
