Hello,
Adding new licensing or making host changes was very frustrating until,
recently, as of past month i was able to use the powerlink and get new
licences registered and got email confirmation without any issues.
I have to complement emc on that functionality now.
Thanks

Good luck. I've only once been able to use a LAC through Powerlink -
each other time has required contacting licensing support. We also have
issues with site numbers at support renewal time. EVERY year we get
this straightened out "for the last time". If you are able to get this
resolved, I'd love to hear how you do it.

I don't know what it is, but it appears to be impossible to get the
amusingly named "Powerlink" to have the correct information. I tried to
get
someone to fix it a year ago, but apparently to no avail.

I just talked to a person in licensing who told me to email them (she
refused to give me a phone number to call) with "the information" and
they
would fix it, it's "complicated". So I emailed licensing and support
inforamtion with my actual LAC, contact information HOSTID as well as
the
email from them last year. I don't know if it will get fixed. I tried
calling the Powerlink people (number given to me by sales person) but
they
just transferred be back to sales (!).

I'm wondering if anyone has a useful phone number to call at EMC to get
Powerlink information fixed (I've *never* been able to get my
enablers/activation codes through Powerlink, and I've been a Networker
owner since version 4...).

Unbelievably frustrating. As if the whole java version nonsense wasn't
frustrating enough...
