[Networker] Removal of older save sets
2009-03-18 11:43:40
Not sure why you need it and what exactly you mena by "remove"
Expired savesets will get overwritten when a media becomes recyclable, it's
managed by NW and needs no manual intervention.
If you want to remove some savesets from media database - you can do it with
nsrmm:
nsrmm -S <SSID>/<CLONEID> -d
you must use SSID/CLONEID combination, can be found by querying mminfo.
If you want to delete media (tape) which contains you saveset - same nsrmm
helps, but you only delete it from media database. Actual data remains on tape
- you'd need to overwrite the tape or physically destroy it
