All the savesets on that tape matches the actual folder'capacity on the networker client and the tapes allocated to that particular media pool are becoming full at native capacity (400 GB).

Since EAS encryption takes every byte of data and expands it from one byte to 256 bytes, then yes, you lose compression.

In my humble opinion, using NetWorker to encrypt data at the time it is backed up is a bad idea, but you should check the archives for this list. Encryption has been discussed on this list quite a bit, although not recently.
