[Networker] Suspect save sets?

If an incremental saveset gets marked 'suspect' then will NW rerun the next incremental based on the status from the previous one good one, or will it pick up where that one left off?

Say, for example, that NW can't read the label on a tape and marks all the savesets suspect, but you don't find out until a couple of days later? Should you run a numeric or level full to grab everything from just before that happened, or would the subsequent incrementals handle everything appropriately?
