It only shows, as far as I recall, remaining savesets and 'current' 
failures.

About the only way I've been able to gauge at all (also using 7.2 on 
Solaris) is to compare the current backup size as reported in the Sessions 
pane of nwadmin with a comparable size in the indexes dialog for that 
client, which is very crude at best. The "x of y savesets" info in the 
sessions pane is apparently not sequential, but rather (I guess) just a 
note of which saveset in the list is currently underway. I've seen it move 
forward and backward, jump around, etc., as a backup progresses as well as 
during cloning.

>From what I've seen, Networker isn't particularly helpful in that regard 
unless there's some way to extract it using mminfo, etc. (which seems 
unlikely). Maybe I'm just missing it ... ?
