Re: [Networker] question - NSR Index

This is a classic question :
This means that 100% of the 25mb index size is in use.
Reworded, all is ok :
In previous version (before version 7.x), client file index
was 1 big file per client. Now it is 3 files per SSID.
At that time, depending of the browse policy, if you decreased
browse policy, you may end up with (for sample) 60% of 50MB
index size in use. (meaning 40% of 50MB disk space to be ... lost).
Reclaiming space (nsrck -X ...), you ended up with 100% of 30MB.
If you make some calculations :
60% of 50MB = 30MB = 100% of 30MB.
In other words, no prob ;-)
Cheers

Subject: [Networker] question - NSR Index
Can someone hopefully answer my question...
What does the "100% utilized" mean if only 25MB?
/usr/nsr/index/itxjcappp3.corp.appintell.com: 209261 records requiring 25 MB
/usr/nsr/index/itxjcappp3.corp.appintell.com is currently 100% utilized
Thank you
