I suggest holding off on version 7.5, I am currently running 7.5 with many
unresolved issues. First, there are unexplained (EMC was internally able to
reproduce without solution) client ID resolution errors in the daemon.raw,
which initially led me to believe the media db was damaged. My Windows
2008/Vista clients (version 7.5) are establishing a number of tcp/udp
connections on the loopback interface and failing to close... after a few days
all the dynamic ports in the range are utilized. I have to periodically
restart the clients. Further, the Vista the client seems to hang when
starting, sometimes it times out and doesn't start at all.

I almost forgot to mention the periodic IO errors when writing to LTO-3 drives
(didn't happen prior to 7.5). This causes the volume to be marked as full and
spills the backups onto another volume (sometimes this happens 2-3 times during
a clone operation).
