Hello,

We're planning to install a VMWare Infrastructure environment soon, and
there has been some interest in using VMWare consolidated backups. I've
been looking at the license requirements for Networker, both on
powerlink and this list, and frankly it's about as clear as raw sewage.
We're running Networker 7.3.3, and it appears the licensing differs
whether you're running 7.3.3, 7.4, or 7.5.

Can anyone who's used consolidated backups give me an idea of how many
licenses, and what kind, I would need to buy for a proxy server and the
VM's if we go with consolidated backups? Any differences you can
highlight between the different networker versions would also be much
appreciated. I realize we'll probably have to upgrade, but I don't want
to jump all the way to 7.5 unless there's a compelling reason to do so.

Thanks!
