Hello,
Where are you typing the cmd, You need to execute the cmd on the Netapp 
filer side on the cmd line, there is a man page on that.
Also, do you have the tapes directly attached to the filer or are you 
using NDMP devices on your backup server ?
If your tapes are attached to the filer, your tapes names should be 
something like "nrsta01" not Tape0, do sysconfig -t to get the tape info, 
you want to use the non-rewind device names ( This only applies if your 
tapes are direct attached to the filer)

problems while configuring NDMP bakups






i could not type the command ndmpd debug 70... but now i think iam able to 
create ndmp tape drives. But while iam trying to label tapes through NDMP 
tape drives in networker i get this error mentioned below :
