These are the steps mentioned in the disaster recovery guide for recovering
networker client.

[1] Reinstall the networker client software.
[2] Recover following savesets using networker user prog.

All local drives (except the NetWorker installation directory)
? SYSTEM STATE:
? SYSTEM FILES:
? SYSTEM DB:

Alternatively, if you are using Windows 2003 and Volume Shadow Copy
Service (VSS) is licensed and enabled, or for Windows Server 2008 or
Windows Vista, mark these save sets:
? All local drives (except the NetWorker installation directory)
? VSS SYSTEM BOOT:
? VSS SYSTEM FILESET:
? VSS SYSTEM SERVICES:
? VSS USER DATA:
? VSS OTHER:
? VSS ASR DISK: (Windows 2003 only)

[3] Verify the networker client recovery.

Also it is given that,
follow these steps as a last resort for recovering a networker client and use
ASR recovery method if possible.

What method should I use ? What is the difference ?

I know that ASR recovery can't be used for the networker server, storage nodes
and cleints with sahred disks.

Thanks
