Hi,
You can recover a folder and all files under it or a single file by
recovering saveset and supplying file\folder path, check the recover info,
that way you will not need the same amount of disk space as the original
saveset.
In your environment do you have between two sites same client under two
domains that has same name? this could be problem, you may have to
temporarily delete or rename one before recovering other ? i am not sure
,other admins may have more reasonable suggestion.
One other option may be to use a separate server with temporary install of
Networker and recovering there, if your drive is portable and have
available servers this may be OK, especially, if you are only recovering
this one time and don't want to mess with your production networker
server, just make sure you do not reuse any licences or name for your
production environment.

Not yet. The saveset is like 300G, and I want something like 50M worth of
files. And I don't know specifically the file names I want, only the
directory path they are supposed to be in. Hence I wanted to use the GUI
to recover, so I could choose the specific files easier.
> When you re-created the client, did you give the proper name format i.e
> FQDN, does the name resolve properly ?
Well, it's like this - the client name exists, so NW renamed the client to
be ~clientname. So there is no resolving that name.
The aliases show up as:
~admin_nt8rc
~admin_nt8rc.wrk.ads.pha.phila.gov-1
I created a HOSTS file entry for "~admin_nt8rc", but that made no
difference (to be honest, I didn't think it would).

new

Have not yet run nsrck or nsrim yet, no. I'm guessing I will need a "nsrck
-L6".
