I agree Joe,
EMC support can usually resolve your problem, if you're lucky enough to
get a skilled tech on your case. Sometimes you get someone who simply
follows a procedure to get you going again... And then quickly closes
out the case without any follow up later.
The problem I have with EMC support is that while they may resolve your
problem at hand, they don't analyze what caused your particular failure
in the first place and then offer pro-active measures you can take to
prevent it from happening again in the future... Or at least
answer/acknowledge your question when you ask why something failed ??

Networker would best be explained by examples I feel ...

If they would/could show different WORKING examples of client
definitions, groups, pools, schedule, directives, etc, with short
explanations on why one is better than another or what each accomplishes
, It would be a big help.

They should also explain the cycle of dependencies of incrementals on
the last prior full and how save-sets expire better, Preston has offered
the best explanation of that I've ever read, EMC would be wise to pay
him for use of some of his explanations in their documentation...
