Also there is no need to use Windows scheduler and command-line unless you
want to. Groups, schedules and client resources configured through the GUI
will handle this fine. You just need to research the mechanisms a little
better and define exactly what you are trying to do with your levels.

Subject: [Networker] Incremental Celerra NDMP backups to EMC Networker

Hi All,

I have read in the "Configuring NDMP Backups on EMC Celerra" document that a
level 10 incremental NDMP backup is possible, however I'm at a loss as to
how to configure this backup level in networker.

My aim is to get my NDMP disk based backup to do one full monthly and then
incrementals for each weekday in between. I know i'll have to use the
windows scheduler and command line backup tools to achieve this, but at the
moment, I can only use levels 1-9 backups.

The incremental option in networker doesn't work on NDMP backups and I cant
select level 10 when running savegrp.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Dave
