I have made the following steps.

1. stop networker daemons
nsr_shutdown
2. list installed networker packages
setld -i | grep LGTO
3. remove the installed packages
setld -d LGTOCLNTxxx LGTOMANxxx
4. install OS packages
cd to "IOSWWEURLOC540" and "DSKMOTIF21510" install dirs
setld -l .
5. install NetWorker packages
cd to NetWorker untarred install dir
setld -l .
choose LGTOCLNTxxx LGTOMANxxx
6. the install script made the right rpc and startup entries
7. you must start networker manually after install (but not on reboot)
/sbin/init.d/NSRstartstop start
ps -ef|grep nsr

The "NetWorker Release 7.4 Service Pack 1 Multiplatform Version Installation 
Guide" from powerlink describes most of the steps. If you have a Tru64 Cluster 
you must disable the new nsrauth authentication method. This is described in 
"NetWorker 7.4.1 Multiplatform Version Cluster Installation Guide".
