I have a customer who recently installed eight HP-UX 11iv3 integrity blade
servers on their network. They are currently running a Legato Networker
Server V7.0 on a Tru64 V5.1B system. They now want to start backing up the
new HP-UX servers.

I believe that the following licenses would be required to backup the 8
HPUX blade servers consisting of 4 x App Servers and 2 x two node Oracle
RAC clusters. ... 4 client licences, 4 SAN storage node licences and 4
oracle module licenses. Is this correct.

Also:
• Is it possible to do data encryption of backups using the
existing legato server and tape drives (Tru64 v5.1B server running
Networker V7.0 backing up over SAN to 2 x ESL9198 tape libraries).

• Can/Should they purchase licences which are compatible with the
existing Legato Networker v7.0 on a Tru64 V5.1B server

• Can/Should they purchase licences and upgrade the existing
Networker server on Tru64 as required to the latest version of Networker
(assuming the latest version is supportted on Tru64).

• Can/Should they purchase licences and migrate and upgrade
Networker Server to a new dedicated Linux box.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
