One noticeable difference between 7.4 and 7.3 is that 7.4 has
multilingual support - which means all the log messages are different
even if you use the english version. I can't speak on whether the other
language versions are ok to use - but I've heard native french speakers
on this list say they still use the english messages...and they don't
have italian
I still am not ready to go to 7.4, mainly because 7.4.3 came out only 1
week ago, but also because of the changes to the log message format.
But If you are going through the process of upgrading from 7.1 perhaps
7.4.3 is a better goal.
There is a document on powerlink called 'NetWorker Technical Guidance
for Upgrades to EMC NetWorker 7.4 Service Pack 2 Technical Note' this
should answer a lot of your questions - don't upgrade before reading
this.
