Re: [Networker] Ubuntu Server and NetWorker Client Install

Jonathan,
Recent versions of the NetWorker client install modify the
/etc/syslog.conf file. Routing daemon.notice to the /nsr/logs/messages
file. If you have anything other than NetWorker that writes to daemon.*
you're going to see it there as well.

I was able to get the NetWorker client installed on Ubuntu Server... however I am having some weird issues. The first is the message file under /nsr/logs contains information from the mySQL daemon... (from syslog?)

This doesn't seem as though it should be there. I removed the NetWorker client
from startup, removed the files under /nsr/logs, and rebooted to find the
information dumped there once again. Any ideas as to how this could have
happened or even where to start troubleshooting?? [Shocked]
