Hi , I am a newbie with networker and I have been asked to upgrade our systems to 7.4 as our existing version is going end of life

I have a mixture of legacy client systems (solaris 2.6 running v6.1.4) that cannot go to 7.4 will this be a problem with 7.4?
Can i still use the server initiated upgrade tool with this setup?

Gavin;

Your legacy clients should work fine. I have some NetWorker 6.something clients backing up to a Solaris 10 NetWorker 7.4.1 server, no problem.

One thing you should keep in mind is that 7.4.x uses a lot more horsepower, so if you are going to run it on the same hardware you're using now for your NetWorker server, you may see some slow downs.
