Hello,
I believe handler default is that the OS default is meaning 64 kb on
Windows, you should choose the size based on your environment, meaning one
that is compatible between SN, Master servers etc.
You can query the server for what this size is, on the devices properties,
check under volume tab unber " volume block size" this should be your
handler default.

[Networker] Block size LTOIV for Windows 32 bit OS

All,

IBM Ultrium 4 tape drive from Dell. Networker 7.4.2 running on Windows
2003 32 bit. Device driver from Windows resources are correct. Tapes are
becoming full after around 80GB. The block size set in networker for this
device is set to handler default! Not sure what this is. Should I hardcode
to 128K or another block size? Has anyone seen this before?
