I'm working through a problem with Exchange cluster backups at the moment, that
feels like a user rights issue, heres hoping one of you guys can help out.
I get the following error when I try to backup.
* chexmbns:MSEXCH:IS The system cannot find the path specified.
* chexmbns:MSEXCH:IS [6224] [I] 06/11/08 15:28:38 Processing storage group
"PublicFolders"

* chexmbns:MSEXCH:IS [6224] [E] 06/11/08 15:28:38 Error saving GUID for

* chexmbns:MSEXCH:IS [6224] [E] 06/11/08 15:28:38 The backup of PublicFolders

* chexmbns:MSEXCH:IS [6224] [I] 06/11/08 15:28:38 Completed backup of
PublicFolders Status: 0x00000003
The xbsa messages file shows the following
XBSA-1.0.1 Wed Jun 11 15:27:18 2008 _nwbsa_is_retryable_error:
received a network error (Severity 5 Number 1): permission denied, `SYSTEM' on
`chexmbnsa' must have remote access privilege to client chexmbns.
I have system@physicalnodea and b configured in the remote access field for the
virtual server but the docs are a bit vague. Should this be a user with dba
access perms?
The admin guide mentions setting up Localsystem@physicalnodename in the
Networker admin users group, should this be system@physicalnodename
Thanks
Andy
