The simplest approach would be to come up with a new pool name for the
sdlt600 clones - eg instead of CLONE have CLONE600.

You can 'own' a device by more than one pool - so you would set it up so
your old drives would only be owned by the old clone pool and your new
drives would be owned by both pools.
