Here's something odd ...
I have a SQL cluster. I use a clone job, and backup this cluster. All is
well; job saves; finishes; clones; shows successful. Yay me! :-)
Now, this job uses "no index save". When I uncheck that, to save an index,
I get:
pssql2:index 1 retry attempted
pssql2:index 39077:save: error, no matching devices for save of client
`admnbck001.wrk.ads.pha.phila.gov'; check storage nodes, devices or pools
pssql2:index
pssql2:index 5777:save: Cannot open save session with
admnbck001.wrk.ads.pha.phila.go
pssql2 being the client, and admnbck001 being my server.
Why?
It's not a big deal; I do a "savegrp -O" to a separate pool every day
anyway. I just find it odd, that the index save fails to complete.
