They're grabbing the deduplication functionality from Avamar and slowly merging 
it back with Networker.  They purchased it expressly for the deduplication 
features.  Eventually Avamar will be nothing more than a licensed feature of 
Networker, is my guess (no separate Avamar client at all).  Although, they will 
probably still require you to have Avamar storage nodes.
