[Networker] Networker 7.4 on SLES 10 and nwrecover

Hi,

does somebody have experiences with this constellation?

I have the following (bad) experiences with NW 7.4 on SLES 10 (x64):
        NetWorker wants to register logging with syslog in /etc/syslog.conf. 
SLES 10 uses syslog-ng which uses a completely different configuration --> 
doesn't work!

        Trying to run nwrecover fails with 4 charset warnings and a 
segmentation fault!
I did a clean SLES 10 install without any updates and service packs.
Then I installed and configured networker 7.4 (with license manager, storage 
node, client, manpages, nmc). A full backup to the default pool worked. 
Starting nwrecover failed.

Then I installed all online updates, but no service pack. nwrecover still fails.
Don't know if installing SP1 will have any positive effects to the problem...

Any suggestions are welcome!
