Hello,
I am not familiar with module from Netapp for Exchange, however, one way 
to do this would be to configure exchange server as Storage Node server 
and backup locally using Networker Exchange module or just an regular 
client ( depending on what type of recovery you want, file level or dB 
level).
Depending on Exchange dB size, you might be able to do over the network 
backup also (Recoverability may vary, as above)
The other method would be to use NetApp snapshots & mount them on any 
proxy server to be backed up ( may require scripts, licences etc).
