Hello,
If your devices are from SAN and if they are working properly you already
verified SAN connectively. In order to take it little bit further you may
want to
1. Check & document your Fiber Channel HBA ports,WW address etc.
2. Make sure you have enabled Persistent Binding on FC HBA ports to
reduce incidents of Drive re-sequencing ( please refer to previous posts
on Drive resequiencing)
3. Document your Driver levels, FC HBA firmware etc.
4. Document and review your FC zoning etc
5. Review Legato cmd options and info for inquire, tape, sn, sjimm etc.
6. Install and review the use of Fiber Channel HBA software such as San
Surfer ( Qlogic).
