Day 8 is not entirely correct.

While a full backup is made, the incrementals on days 5, 6, 7 are not yet
recyclable. As such, none of the backups from the first week are recyclable.

It's easiest to remember thusly in NetWorker:

A backup only becomes recyclable if and only if the following 2 conditions
are met:

(a) Its retention period has expired;

(b) The retention period of all backups which depend on it have also
expired.
