Hello,
Most often the culprit is incorrectly configured host file (double check 
the host file for duplicate, incorrect entries), other issues could 
involve host name resolution not working, make sure all the alias names 
are correctly defined nslookup for long & short name is working.
Running client in more verbose mode should help pinpoint the issue.
