Are are SAN attached. We could do it the way you suggest, but then all
of the load would be on 1 server, and it does take a good bit of time
to do each snapshot. Somewhere in the order of 1GB/minute with a HDS
NSC55 SAN and GB ethernet. So we let each esx host do it's own backup.
