Hello,
It's been a while since i used the stage, however, from what i recall, you
can just do manual stage from your device, which will free up the space.
Thanks

[Networker] How to trigger staging on an advanced file type device
I have been using staging for the past week on an advanced file type
device. The device filling up tonight. The staging resource is set up
so it has an upper limit of 70% and a lower limit of 30%. I stopped
the backups that were going to that device and restarted them after
pointing them to tape, but how do I trigger the staging process so the
advanced file type device writes to tape and empties?
