"savetime" is an absolute number, not a relation from today. Older
times are smaller than later times.
2006 < today.
"1 day" is interpreted as "1 day from now". So "savetime < 1 day" will
match all dates that are less than (earlier than) tomorrow.
If you want match dates older than yesterday that would be:
"savetime > 1 day ago"
