I have configured a Solairs 9 storage node to connect to a SAN that is
presenting 10 tape devices. My server is using a emulex HBA can see the 10 tape
devices. When I run an inquire command i see each device once with a device
file path of /dev/rmt/#cbn and then i see 6 more devices with no file path and
the serial number of the 1st tape device.

I am trying to figure out how to prevent the inquire command from seeing all
these extra devices. I have put entries in the st.conf for SCSI and FP and then
performed a reboot -- -r but the problem remains. I have also set persistent
bindings on the tape devices using lpfcutil.

Do I need to make a change to the lus.conf file to solve this problem? What
change do I need to make?

  Thanks.
