Hi Andrew
Motif is required for the GUI applications that are bundled in the
client rpm. If you don't plan to use these, you can have rpm ignore the
dependency with:
rpm -ivh --nodeps . . .

Thanks for the reply, Stan. Why is openmotif needed?? This wasn't a
prerequisite in 7.3.2, and I didn't see anything of this nature listed
in the software requirements section of the installation guide. Seems a
little out of the blue....
