A high ssid, or a high number of ssids? A high ssid means nothing. A
high number of them means you've done a high number of backups.

Not so much in this millenium. Older versions of networker did use a
more sequential numbering for ssids, but that hasn't been true since at
least 6.0. The sequential numbering was a problem because it made it
much more likely that you'd have ssid collisions if you needed to import
a foreign tape.
