It's an enahancement from 7.3 and up.
Fundametally the change was to move the field representing the retention
period from the saveset record into the clone records.. So now two
clones of the same saveset can be different.
In older versions of networker the retention on a saveset would usually
come from the client record. In 7.3 additionally you can set a retention
period on a pool.
What I have done so far is to leave most pools without a retention
period, so everything works like before, except on just one clone pool I
set a retention period - then as savesets are cloned to that pool the
clones get a different retention period... Other people may wish to set
retention periods on all pools - there's a whole new set of design
considerations here, I wonder what other people have come up with?
