Hello All,

We are running NetWorker 7.2 on Solaris 9. Occasionally, about 3 or 4 times
per week, we have a group that runs, then all of its clients seem to finish,
but the group is still listed in the NWAdmin interface with a status of
"Running". The group can be ended manually and everything will be fine for
some time, then the problem will repeat. Any ideas?

Find the nsrgrp process for that group on the machine after the clients
have finished. Look for any children of it (ptree is handy for this).

The process's name is savegrp, not nsrgrp.

Does the nsrgrp process have any children? If yes, what? (probably a
'nsrexec' with an associated client name).

If no, truss the nsrgrp process. What is it doing?
