Here is the resolution to the problem:

1. Please log in to NMC.
2. Click on Setup Icon at the top
3. Select Setup menu, then choose 'system options'
4. Uncheck the last option 'RPC ping via UDP when connecting to NetWorker'
5. Click ok
6. Please try to reconnect to the server.
