Folks,
I will soon be setting up NetWorker backups for a sibling company. The
clients include Windows servers (2K or higher) and a SuSE 10.0 server
(on x86 hardware). Perusing the Compatibility Guide for NetWorker
Server/Client the only place I see SuSE 10 mentioned is for AMD64. Is
it possible to install and run the client on SuSE 10? Also, work with
Solaris but have little experience with Linux of any flavor. Any advice
that would smooth the install on SuSE 10 would be appreciated.
Finally, we're currently running NetWorker 7.2.2 but I'm inclined to
install some version of 7.3 in this case. Are there any particular
versions of 7.3 to avoid? What's the best version of 7.3 to use right
now?
Thanks, Dave
