Re: [Networker] "Connecting directories failed" on Netware savesets?
2007-05-23 06:59:08
We had this problem on Netware 6.5sp5 (no experience of Netware6) and it
was fixed by applying NWLIB6H (there'll be a later version now).
Hopefully this might point you in the right direction.
Cheeers... Allan.

We're suddenly seeing two Netware 6 clients (Solaris Networker 7.2
server) failing at the very end of backups. SYS and other volumes backup
apparently normally until the very end, where we see a
"clientname:volume: (2000) Connecting directories failed" error and
the backup starts over. These particular clients do this on more than
one Networker server (where other Netware clients succeed), so the
problem is not on the server.
Anyone seen this before? Googling turns up little and we've heard
nothing from the vendor so far.
Thanks.
