Re: [Networker] NetWorker 7.2 client for Opteron processors

Our Networker server is 7.2.2 (Jumbo11+HF) on Solaris. Recently, I
had a Suse 10 client on which, after consulting the SCG guide, I
installed the 7.3.2 client. It seems to be running without too many
issues, although the client did complain about some deamon it couldn't
reach on the server (probably some 7.3 daemon), but other than that it
could backup and recover. My vendor also claimed that running a 7.3
client to a 7.2 server is OK.

I am helping to set up a new server for research computation and I need
a NetWorker client for it. The server has AMD dual core Opteron 64-bit
processors. It runs the 64-bit version of SuSE Linux 9. Which NetWorker
client should I install on this machine? The NetWorker server runs
7.2.1. I looked through EMCs online list of NetWorker clients, but I
can't tell which one is the appropriate choice for this server. Any
suggestions will be appreciated.
