We have a storagetek SL500,  By default, there is no panel. You can
however query the contents and move them around outside of networker,
the commands are;

 

If you need to move tapes in the autoloader outside of legato, i.e.

*       rescan tapes back into legato or 
*       use tape drives for backup outside of legato.

The following commands are useful;

1.      See current status of jukebox

sjirdtag [email protected]
where [email protected] is the SCSI location of the jukebox, got from ;

[sroot@mars bobf]# inquire

2.      Move tapes in jukebox.

sjimm [email protected] slot 17 drive 1

this does the following. Moves tape from slot 17 into drive 1, where
drive 1 and slot 17 contents can be queried via sjirdtag [email protected]
