Good to hear for once someone moving off windows...

Solaris doesn't have anything similar that you need to disable.

Subject: [Networker] Solaris storage node

We're replacing our Windows storage nodes with a Solaris storage node.
In Windows, we had to make sure that the removable storage service was
disabled so that it would not try to control/reset/rewind our tape
drives while another storage node was writing to them. Are there any
similar configuration items we need to be careful of with a storage node
in Solaris? Are there any file locking-type settings that need to be
made?

Thanks.

Teresa
