Not really clear what you mean but I believe,
based on the subject you mean this :

It depends how you to start your recovery :

if you do ...

recover -s server -S ssid1 
recover -s server -S ssid2
recover -s server -S ssid3 

... Yes, it will one to finish to start the next one ....

if you do ...

recover -s server -S ssid1 -S ssid2 -S ssid3

... You will recover the 3 sessions at the same time.

BUT :

Assuming ssid1 uses vol1 and vol2, ssid2&3 use vol2 ....
As ssid 1 has a head chunck on another volume,
you may start recover ssid1 from vol1 and ssid2&3 from vol2.
When recover of ssid1 finished reading from vol1 and requests vol2,
you will have to wait till ssid2 and ssid3 to finish for
having vol2 rewinded to right position for recover of ssid1 to
continue.
