At this stage, start a bootstrap backup and full index backup of all of
your clients.
Install scratch 732 on Solaris 10 x86_amd
Use mmrecover to recover the mmdb (same build 732),
Then, when all Volumes are still in media db, then use "nsrck -L 7" to
recover your client file indexes.
Process then with license re-authentication if your hostid is not the
same anymore.

Subject: Re: [Networker] Media database gone after server
migration/upgrade
the man page for mmrecov says it should only be used when recovering to
the same version of networker as the one used to create the backup
"Use the same release of NetWorker, and install it in the same location
as it was before the software was lost."
This is obviously not the case as I'm upgrading from 6.x to 7.3.2
I'm afraid it looks like an imcompatibility between Networker running on
Sparc and x86 platforms. The original server is running networker 6.1.4
on Solaris 8 (Sparc). I tried upgrading on an interim machines (running
Solaris 8 Sparc) to 7.2.2 and then 7.3.2 and everything is still there.
However when I try to transfer the /nsr directoy to the new server
running 7.3.2 on Solaris 10 x86_amd the client indexes and media
database are suddenly gone.
The strange thing is that according to the log files the new Networker
sees the indexes e.g.
Jan 10 10:42:49 server root: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] NetWorker index:
(notice) checking index for 'client1'
Jan 10 10:42:49 server root: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] NetWorker index:
(notice) /nsr/index/client1 contains 7209968 records occupying 1165 MB
But still if I use the old or new interface the client indexes are gone.
