Using Unix/Linux O/S, I can almost create all the required/requested reports 
from the daemon and networker log files using command line queries and dumping 
them to text files.

You are not the only 7.2.x user sitting out there in the wilderness.
I am quite sure that there are many of us who are very happy
Running a version that works !!

There are other ways to get reports without messing up the basic
operations.

The sad part is that EMC will force our hands by releasing an end of
life on 7.2 somewhere along the line.

Sure hope 7.4 is better than 7.3

Well we just received the Jumbo patch for 7.3.2 and I am told not only
is there a 7.3.3 coming out but 7.4 is to be released Q1/2007!
