We are about to change a server from one platform to another (both Intel...
just another box different model) and one OS to another (Win2000 to
Win2003). We are going to keep the same computer name and the same IP
address. I was thinking that when I took the Networker 7.2.1 class we
learned that I could not create a second server with the same name as a
previous server I had been backing up because of index issues. Am I wrong?
Can i just bring one down install the client on the new one with same name
and just start backing it up?
