Re: [Networker] desktop backup software

1. Make your Desktop Windows XP
Use Restore Points on XP for the desktop image
2. For files; Create Personal drives on a network for your user login
profiles; re-direct their MY DOCUMENTS to this P:\Docs directory.
3. Use legato to back up all the personal files.
Assumptions;
You have a stable network to all users.
Security; ensuring all users have privacy for their files, etc.
Viola... Who needs a separate desktop solution?
Ok there are always exceptions, do all of your desktops have CD or DVD
burners on them? See where I am going with that? The included version of
NERO usually has something an individual can use. With the exception of
a true pack rat, the largest thing most users will have is their Outlook
Archive folder.
Thoughts? /ALE
